Yellow bus making rounds in Hell’s Kitchen.

Regular school bus service resumed today on all 7,700 routes serving America’s largest public school system. Five thousand routes were affected by the driver walkout that began on January 16, 2013. There were more than 100,000 children — many with disabilities — affected by the strike. The first school bus driver strike in the city since 1979 was prompted by a fight over union jobs.
