The UNICEF snowflake is adorned with 16,000 Baccarat crystal prisms, weighs 3,300 pounds, stands over 28 feet high and 23 feet in diameter. It is the largest outdoor chandelier of its kind. A New York attraction since 1984, the snowflake was dedicated to UNICEF by the Stonbely family in 2002. The original snowflake hangs above the Beverly Wilshire on Rodeo Drive and this larger one was created for New York in 2005.
