Architect and surveyor Igancio Castera created more than a dozen distinct manuscript maps of Mexico City, but the earliest and most detailed is his map of 1778 painted by Anselmo López. It is on display at the Hispanic Society of America. We recall the history of Mexico on November 20, known as Revolution Day, marking the start of the 1910 Revolution.
