Built during the Great Depression, Radio City Music Hall has undergone many changes since 1932. It has hosted live theater, feature films, boxing and even professional basketball. What its best known for are the Rockettes and the months long Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Forgotten with the passage of time was New York builder John Lowry, the builder of Radio City Music Hall, who was born on November 13, 1882. The only mention of Lowry today is as the builder of Radio City and nothing more.
