Snowfall on Oct. 29, 2011Snowtober on 119th St.

The October snow storm in New York City was dubbed Snowtober. This is only the fourth time in history it has snowed in the city before Halloween. It snowed less than an inch in October 1952, 1925 and 1876. This latest snowfall broke the record for snowiest October with a recorded 2.9 inches of snow recorded in Central Park.
