The Broadway – Seventh Avenue Local is the only MTA subway line that still has elevated stations in Manhattan. Coming out of the ground at W122nd St the “1” line is elevated from the W125th St station through to it’s northern terminus in the Bronx; Van Cortlandt Park-242nd St.
