Harriet Tubman Memorial: St. Nicholas Ave., W122nd and Frederick Douglass Blvd.

This larger-than-life bronze statue depicts abolitionist Harriet Tubman “not as the conductor of the Underground Railroad but as the train itself, an unstoppable locomotive,” according to the artist who created the sculpture, Alison Saar. Titled “Swing Low,” it was dedicated on this Harlem street corner in 2008.
